Marcus's role at Event Insurance

As an Underwriting Assistant, Marcus provides vital support to the underwriting team, helping customers through every stage of their insurance journey. His role includes assessing new applications submitted through our website, responding to customer enquiries by email and phone, processing payments and supporting a range of administrative tasks, including Feefo reviews and compliance checks.

With a helpful, customer-focused approach, Marcus enjoys ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and that clients receive the support they need.

Marcus's top tip for event organisers

“Give yourself plenty of time to plan your event and make sure you understand all the requirements well in advance. This helps avoid any last-minute panic over important details, such as insurance, that could prevent your event from going ahead.”

Outside of work

Outside of work, Marcus has a passion for cars and motorsport, particularly Formula One, and rarely misses a race weekend. He also loves travelling and has completed several tours across the USA, documenting many of his adventures on his YouTube channel. More recent trips have included a holiday to the Dominican Republic and a cruise departing from Miami.
